Find lower fare
Available in scheme types:
Pricing and Ticketing
Search for and if found based on the parameters set; rebook to the lower fare.
- Use any, private or published fares for PNR pricing.
- Apply only if the difference between the current fare and the lower available fare for PNR total amount is more than an amount or percentage.
For example, if the fare difference is less than 5% then do not rebook to the lower fare. - Ignore fare optimization if the baggage rule for new fare is more restrictive or does not allow any baggage for any of the segments in PNR.
- Check change before departure penalty. If checked: do not rebook if the rules for the lower fare is different.
- Check change after departure penalty. If checked: do not rebook if the rules for the lower fare is different.
- Check refund before departure penalty. If checked: do not rebook if the rules for the lower fare is different.
- Check refund after departure penalty. If checked: do not rebook if the rules for the lower fare is different.
- Do not attempt to optimize if reserved seats are detected in PNR. If checked: do not attempt to find a lower fare if reserved seats exists in the booking.
- Reassign booking class for all non-rebooked segments when trying to rebook. If checked: if some segments of the new found lower fare still has the same booking class; rebook these segments to the same booking class (to make sure all segments in the stored price are booked at the same time). Example: four segments booked in M-class. A lower fare is found where segment 1 and 4 remains in M-class = rebook segments 1 and 4 to M-class (and segment 2-3 to the applicable classes found).
